This is not so much a News Letter this month, more like a request for volunteers.
Brian Shaw has approached me with a fund raising idea to be held jointly with All Saints.Brian suggested an evening of entertainment and has volunteered to sing. The Fund Raising Committee thought it would be nice if members of the Churches and Centre could get together and put on a “Review”. The proposed date for this is Saturday, 28th September. The “Review” would last for approximately 2 hours with an interval of 20 to 30 minutes. We are looking for approximately 10 acts, each act to last 10 to 15 minutes. We know there are a good number of very talented members of both Churches and also Centre members so please do not be shy in coming forward. Maria’s Dance School has volunteered to perform and, of course, we have Brian. We will also be after helpers for the interval, when it is proposed to supply a small buffet. Donations of food will also be most welcome.
